Boundaries Bring Blessing

Part 1 of The Blessed Life
Josh Canizaro
November 4, 2017
(Deuteronomy 28:1-8 NLT) ““If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God: Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed. “The LORD will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven! “The LORD will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.”
(Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT) "“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!"
Boundaries
(Genesis 1:1-2 NLT) ”In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.”
(Genesis 1:3-5 NLT) ”Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness.”
(Genesis 1:9-10 NLT) “Then God said, “Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear.”
(Genesis 1:14-18 NLT) “Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years... And that is what happened. God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night.”
(Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Boundaries Bring Blessing
(Psalm 16:6 NIV) “The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”
1. Character boundaries.
(Psalms 15:1-5 NASB) “O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart. He does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; he swears to his own hurt and does not change; He does not put out his money at interest, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. he who does these things will never be shaken."
2. Time boundaries.
(Acts 17:26 NASB) “And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation.”
3. Financial boundaries.
(Ezekiel 45:9-12 Message) “This is the Message of GOD... Quit bullying and taking advantage of my people. Do what’s just and right for a change. Use honest scales—honest weights and honest measures. Every pound must have sixteen ounces. Every gallon must measure four quarts. The ounce is the basic measure for both. And your coins must be honest—no wooden nickels!"
4. Relational boundaries.
(Matthew 7:12 NLT) ”Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."
5. Faith boundaries.
(John 1:1-5,14 NLT) “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son."
