But God Changes Everything

Part 1 of But God Changes Everything
Josh Canizaro

(Acts 17:26-28 NIV) From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 'For in him we live and move and have our being.’
(John 10:10 ESV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
But God
(Psalm 73:26 NIV) My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
1. We search for identity but God gives us purpose.
(Genesis 1:26 NLT) Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.
(Proverbs 19:21 ESV) Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
2. We seek relationships but God brings divine connections.
(Philippians 1:3-5 NIV) I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
(Proverbs 13:20 ESV) Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
(Proverbs 17:17 ESV) A friend loves at all times.
(Proverbs 27:6 ESV) Faithful are the wounds of a friend.
(Proverbs 27:17 NLT) As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.
(Proverbs 27:10 NLT) Never abandon a friend— either yours or your father’s. When disaster strikes, you won’t have to ask your brother for assistance. It’s better to go to a neighbor than to a brother who lives far away.
3. We lose our way but God guides us.
(Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
(Psalm 119:105 NIV) Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
(John 16:7,13 ESV) Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you...When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
4. We see the impossible but God makes all things possible.
(Matthew 19:26 ESV) Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
(1 Corinthians 4:20 NIV) For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
The Church that I see is seeking the miraculous hand of God. Where we believe that God wants to do miracles of healing, provision and life change. We believe that His arm is not too short nor His desire to bless and favor us!
