“These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young. Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser.” Proverbs 1:4-5 NLT
How To Make A Decision
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
Life Hack - Wisdom Brings Clarity
1. Pray For Wisdom.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 NIV
2. Read the Word.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:1-2 NIV
3. Seek Wise Counsel.
“Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”Proverbs 19:20-21 NIV
How To Be Content
“I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:11-13 NLT
✔ Comparison
✔ Fear
1. Trust.
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT
“Better to have one handful with quietness than two handfuls with hard work and chasing the wind.” Ecclesiastes 4:6 NLT
”For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
2. Thankfulness.
Life Hack - Jesus is Enough
How To Overcome Discouragement
“Now it came about that when Sanballat heard we were rebuilding the wall, he became furious and very angry and mocked the Jews. He spoke in the presence of his brother and the wealthy men of Samaria and said “what are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Can they revive the stones from the dusty rubble, even the burnt ones?” Now Tobiah the Ammonite was near and he said, “even what they are building, if a fox should jump on it, he would break their stone wall down!” Nehemiah 4:1-3 NASB95
Life Hack - Fight For Encouragement
1. Prioritize Prayer
“But we prayed to our God, and because of them we set up a guard against them day and night.” Nehemiah 4:9 NASB
2. Evaluate and secure the exposed areas of your life.
“So I stationed armed men behind the wall in the lowest places, at the open positions [where it was least protected]; I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall, far from one another. Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather to us there.” Nehemiah 4:13,19 AMP
3. Remind Yourself of How Great and Awesome God is.
“Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome.” Nehemiah 4:14 NASB
How To Overcome Offense
“A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.” Proverbs 19:11 NIV
Life Hack - Learn To Forgive
1. Name It.
“How many wrongs and sins have I committed? Show me my offense and my sin.” Job 13:23 NIV
2. Speak To It..
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” Psalm 139:23 NIV
3. Forgive It.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
“And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to them mercy...” 1 Kings 8:50
