(Romans 12:10 ESV) “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”
(2 Timothy 2:20-21 ESV) “Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.”
A buckets success is dependent on one thing: wholeness.

Honorable vessels - worthy of respect, healthy, and whole.
Dishonorable vessels - disrespected, unhealthy, and broken.
Honorable Vessels
1. Aspire to be honorable.
(2 Timothy 2:21 ESV) “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use.”
(Philippians 4:8 NIV) “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
2. Establish boundaries.
(2 Timothy 2:21 ESV) “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be... set apart as holy.”
(Jeremiah 6:16 NASB) “Thus says the LORD, "Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and you will find rest for your souls.”
3. Prepare for good work.
(2 Timothy 2:21 ESV) “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be... ready for every good work.”
(2 Timothy 2:15 NASB) “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.”
4. Stay close to the God’s plan.
(2 Timothy 2:21 ESV) “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be... useful to the master.”
(2 Timothy 2:1-5 NASB) “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules.”
