Courage isn’t the absence of fear. Courage is what you do in spite of fear.

1. Allow God to heal the father wound.
(Psalm 68:5-6 NIV) “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families.”
2. Be a father or a mother.
(Galatians 6:7 NIV) “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
(Matthew 3:16-17; 17:5 NIV) “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

3. Relate to God as your father.
(Romans 8:15-16 MSG) “God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance!”
